Gasadalur waterfall on Vagar Island, Faroe Islands
The famous waterfall Gasadalur on the island of Vagar, Faroe Islands, Denmark. Gasadalur "Goose Valley" is a Faroese village located in the west of the island of Vágar. It was considered one of the most isolated places in Europe until the beginning of the 21st century, as the village could only be reached on foot or by helicopter. This changed when the Gasadal tunnel was opened in 2003.
